My therapeutic approach is rooted in helping individuals, couples, and families understand the emotions and needs underlying their thoughts, behaviors, and relational patterns. With such insight, it can become possible to regain hope and make lasting changes.

AREAS OF Experience include

Anxiety: Struggling with constant fears and “what-ifs” can feel crippling. I can provide tools to help you understand and manage anxiety, so you can move through your life with a greater sense of peace.

Depression: If you are in the depths of depression and have lost sight of hope, I can hold on to it for you until you are ready to take hold of it again. I am patient and compassionate in my approach and can help you build a repertoire of skills to manage the heaviness of depression.

Grief/Loss: Sometimes grief and loss hit like tidal waves, when we least expect it. My experience has allowed me to provide solace to clients who are figuring out the steps to process their grief and loss in a way that feels manageable instead of overwhelming.

Life Transitions: Whether it is navigating a divorce, dealing with a career change, or adjusting to retirement, change is often very difficult. I can provide a safe space to explore the emotions that come along with change and support you as you find your footing.

Parenting: Parenthood is not without challenges. I can provide empathetic support and education in order to equip you to be the best parent you can be to your children.

Relationship Distress: Often times, the greatest wounds come from past relationships (from childhood and throughout), and may negatively impact current relationships. I can help you explore your past wounds, gain insight into yourself and others, and in turn, improve your relationships.

Stress Management: We are living in stressful times. I can provide the opportunity for you to share what is weighing on you, plus provide you with tangible ways to manage stress through mindfulness practices and coping skills.

Trauma: Many have experienced some level of trauma in their lives. The impact of trauma is astounding and can manifest in depression or anxiety, affect relationships, as well as day-to-day lives. My approach is to go at your pace and ensure you feel a deep sense of safety in the therapy room as you work toward healing.
